Remember that you must die.

Not to be grim, but this is a Stoic philosophy called Memento Mori.

Steve Jobs said, “Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life” in his 2005 Stanford commencement speech.

He further adds, “Almost everything just falls away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important...You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

As I’ve been following icons like Tim Ferris, the idea of Stoicism has slowly diffused into me. That and reading The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday.

It’s been my secret weapon thus far :)
